Intended for customers already using our 3" midpipe, but can also be used to delete the primary cat with a creative gasket solution.
Each piece uses 3D CNC ported 1018 cold rolled steel flanges mated to 304 stainless 3" tubing. All products are handmade and checked for perfect fitment.
This J-pipe / midpipe assembly is 2 pieces, giving customers the ability utilize the factory catalytic converter by using only the downpipe. A catted J-pipe isn't offered because there is no way for us to include a high quality cat for an affordable price. Most aftermarket cats offered with other J-pipe assemblies are inferior compared to the OEM cat. Using this upper J-pipe will make the exhaust system catless.
Optional additional o2 bung for customers using a wideband sensor.
Gains Over Using Just the Midpipe:
- Increased spool
- Average 5-20 hp and tq gain throughout the midrange
- 1 whp / 15 ft/lbs tq at peak
- All gaskets and hardware to bolt up to the factory turbo.
A Pro Tune is recommended due to the primary cat being deleted.
Dyno numbers are based off of a bone stock 2015 WRX with ETS 3" cat-back exhaust and Cobb Stage 1 reflash on an AWD Dynojet on the same day with 3 back-to-back pulls with each mod to check for consistency. Our midpipe was already installed for this dyno.
